Loves the Worst - Music Video

I worked alongside the director, cinematographer, and colorist and edited a music video shot entirely on Super 8mm film.

This project presented some interesting challenges regarding lip-syncing to 18fps as shot on the camera, but primarily involved creating a narrative with the director in the cutting room.

This project allowed me to focus on overcoming challenges and working to an exceptionally short deadline.

Tenwest Group

Andro - 360 Behind the Scenes

I worked alongside a cinematographer to produce behind-the-scenes content for Tenwest Group and their artist, Andro.

This involved logging, ideating, cutting, editing, mixing, and grading footage from the music video and shoots, with a focus on Andro himself, his inspirations, and the process of making a music video.

Tenwest Group

Andro - Fight Back Behind the Scenes

Both videos had an incredibly tight deadline as Tenwest needed everything done prior to the release of his Mortal EP.

I liaised with Andro during the process, in which he provided feedback and thus allowed me to iterate to his preference. In addition, I edited together vertical social content using some of Andro’s video journals and also designed the Spotify Canvas’ for both songs.

This project really allowed me to hone my speed as an editor.

Temi Bolorunduro - Tomgirl

I worked with Temi as a director, cinematographer, and editor to produce his short fashion film, Tomgirl, commenting on trans bodies in fashion, queer identity, and finding one’s self a home in the clothes we wear.

Temi and I worked very closely together in the preproduction and for budgetary reasons I shot this over the course of one day.

For this project I conceptualised, shot, cut, edited, mixed, and colour graded, so it was one of my first opportunities to find my love for the process of creating a story through editing by process of elimination.
